WSECU was founded in 1957 with a deposit check in the amount of $5.25.  Our first account holder is still with us today as are more than 150,000 other member-owners of WSECU.  We’ve grown into the second largest credit union in the state with 19 branches and more than $1 billion in assets.  We serve the dedicated public employees of Washington, including state and local government workers and school district personnel, as well as their family members.
