For more than 20 years, WSECU has been a proud supporter of members working to advance their education. We’re proud to continue this service this year with our 2010 scholarship program.

In total, WSECU will award 27 college scholarships, including 20 scholarships of $2000 for students pursuing a four-year or graduate degree and seven $1,000 scholarships for those studying at a two-year or vocational school full-time in fall quarter of this year. The scholarship must be used for a first degree of its kind (e.g. first bachelor’s or first master’s degree).

The scholarship application is available here January 4, 2010 and is due March 1, 2010. The application can also be accessed via ISTS, our scholarship administrative partner at: https://aim.applyists.net/wsecu. Applicants will be asked to set-up an account with a personal password. This will allow ease of access to make changes and updates.

Applicants must be a WSECU member to be eligible.

Applications and all supporting materials should be submitted online on or before March 1, 2010 (by 11:59 pm Pacific Time). Applications are reviewed by committee and evaluated based on a student’s academic record; community service and school activities; financial need, 500 word essay and letters of recommendation.
