For more than 20 years, WSECU has been a proud supporter of members working to advance their education. We’re proud to continue this service this year with our 2009 scholarship program.

In total, WSECU will award 27 college scholarships in 2009, including 20 scholarships of $2000 for students pursuing a four-year or graduate degree and seven $1,000 scholarships for those studying at a two-year or vocational school full-time in fall quarter of this year. The scholarship must be used for a first degree of its kind. (e.g. first bachelor’s or first master’s degree).

Applicants must be a WSECU member to be eligible.
Applications and all supporting materials should be submitted online on or before March 2, 2009 (by 11:59 pm Pacific Time). Applicants are reviewed by committee and evaluated based on a student’s academic record; community service and school activities; financial need and essay/letters of recommendation.
