When it comes to supporting our communities, we're all in. We believe that by joining together we can do more together - for our members and for our neighbors. That's why we invest 4% of our earnings back in to our communities to make them better and stronger.
Our support and community involvement efforts are generally focused on four pillars:
We believe in the power of a good education and its rolein future success. Partnerships with K-12 schools, GEAR UP and the state's public higher education institutions are a centerpiece of our community commitment.
We're dedicated to helping people move forward on the road to stability. Often our support is in the form of offering our special expertise in financial education with free workshops or clients or employees.
Public Employees and Assets
We were founded by public employees and they remain the core of our membership. Supporting programs and events that are close to their hearts and enhance the state's public treasures is a natural fit with our history of serving public employees.
Small Business and Entrepreneurship
We know what it's like to be locally grown. We work and live in the communities we serve and believe in creating shared prosperity by supporting programs and initiatives that foster a vibrant local economy. WSECU will consider requests for sponsorships and other support for non-profit community organizations and events that align with one or more of these pillars.

Time to Give
In addition to giving financial support as an organization, our employees are also committed to supporting their communities. We have a team of caring staff members and we support their passion for community service by providing them paid release time to volunteer at organizations or events of their choice that fall into one of our four pillars of giving.
Take a look at this snapshot of our four pillars in action.
